Warmer Weather on the Mind
It is another day of snow here which means I have warmer weather on the mind. I won't be able to escape the cold for at least another month, so I took a few minutes today to find some images that remind me of the days of warm walks to the park, sunshine until nine, and trips to tiny towns along Lake Michigan.

A walk in the neighborhood
When the weather was warmer, I would take a daily walk with my little family through out our neighborhood. Of course, yesterday was our first day of snow. Hello winter! Here are a few shots from the warmer days of walks and afternoons in the park.

Firsts and lasts
It was a beautiful weekend again here, and it seems as though the heat isn't quite ready to leave - thank goodness! One of my husband's friends owns a boat, and he invited us on a last minute trip down the river. It was the first boat ride for our daughter, and probably the last boat ride of the season. So we packed up some goodies and set out to enjoy the architecture and the weather one last time this year.
