Sunny days with cousins and horses, as I put five layers of clothes on.

This is totally an old batch of pictures, from Memorial Day weekend. What can I say, I'm behind. But I had to share. We made a trip up to Northern Michigan again this past Memorial Day to visit my husband's sister and her family. The girls had some much needed "cousin weekend" as my oldest calls it, we did too, and of course we had loads of fresh air and beautiful sights to top it off.  I have a few more rounds of pictures to share, but here's the start of the fun filled Cousin Weekend!

Aren't they adorable?

My wonderful husband carting around our little one. One of these days she'll learn to walk... lazy bones.

Such a cute one. That front tooth wiggled out while we were there.

This one definitely loves to twirl. She is all girl.

Closest I was able to get to a pic of the girls. You can almost hear my older girl saying, "cheese!"
 Obligatory cousin pic.

Our little one was a good sport. Of course, I would be a good sport too if I was pushed around all day by someone else.

 Old glory!

Brother and sister checking out the horses.

They were striking a pose for their mom. What a pose!
Okay, more to come. One of these days I'll be caught up on pics!

Garden now gone... memories and bubbles.

It's turning cold here. Winter is not one of my favorite times of the year. I grew up in the south, so the idea of freezing temps for a extended period of time isn't my idea of a good time. So on freezing days like today, I plan on looking back at the lovely days of summer. Today I had to pull up the remainders of our garden. It's all gone, but we had a great time testing our green thumbs and growing our first vegetables. My father has a big green thumb, so after much consultation from him we decided to start small this summer and grow just a couple of things. Tomatoes, zucchini, and zinnias (to ward off the bugs) were on the list. The garden was a huge success. We cooked zucchini everything, and everyone, including the girls, enjoyed fresh tomatoes every day. I hope to do another garden next summer. In the meantime, here's a look back at the garden in the beginning and a little girl who loves a sunny day to blow bubbles.

Instagramming

Recently, I upgraded phones from a smart phone that was pretty dumb to a real smartphone. And the only way I know it is a true smart phone is that it has fun apps like instagram. Truly scientific, I know. Anywho, now I get to be young and fun and instagram my heart out. I hope to eventually print out all the lovelies into a book one day, which is why I have become an over-instagrammer. Sorry, but I have plans, you know.

Point being, I can now share some of those fun ones with you. Too many, I know , but I love them all. Enjoy!
