Southern Sweeties

About a month ago I had the chance to photograph two sisters. Aren't they adorable? Fun, giggly, and full of personality!

They are the same spread as my girls, just a few years older. So I got a little preview of what life will be like with two little girls in a few years.

Their momma is a friend of a friend, and from the south, so we had plenty to talk about. Mostly about how much we miss the south, the yes ma'ams, the food, and the lack of -20 degree weather in winter.

Of course, this summer has been a hot one! We somehow picked one of the hottest days of the summer to do the shoot. Luckily, there was plenty of shade at this lovely park and a bit of a breeze to make the 100+ degree weather bearable. These girls were troopers, and even managed a little bit of silliness.  Enjoy!

Oh baby!

I truly enjoy photographing babies. The smiles, the little baby fingers and toes, the eyelashes, and tummy rolls. Oh the tummy rolls are so adorable! A while back, one of my dear friends asked me to photograph her daughter. She is about a month younger than my youngest and FULL of personality. Her face always tells some story and her expressions are fantastic. I just had to share a few from the shoot. Enjoy!

Pictures from the vault

This is what happens when you take pictures and upload them to the computer. You spend the day taking pictures (bribing kids to smile), upload them to the computer, and then forget about them for months. Or at least that is what happens if you are me.

Here are a few gems from a fun afternoon in November where I felt inspired and determined to capture my children in their matching outfits (thanks Margie!). Enjoy!
